Serenity

Stepping into the running hot water I winch as the water meets my curved legs and spine.

Bending over to lower the temperature my stomach curls as I feel it no longer hold its flat shape.

Letting the now warm water kiss my skin, I breathe calmly facing the water letting the rose and black colored makeup rinse away with every drop.

Caressing my blue loofa against my every curve, the savory smell of coconut cream welcomes itself into my nose, sending a wave of peace throughout my body. Rubbing the wash against my hips my fingers find the lines of my stretch marks that lie on my skin.

Moving to touch my stomach, my fingers continue exploring to my neck tugging on my silver chain. Rubbing my shoulders and bones that stick out from my collarbone, softly I whisper “I love you” feeling pure bliss.
